Jeezy announces that he will be releasing a new album, The Recession 2, on November 20 to the world. He put it on Instagram that he will be releasing the album this month. With 30-second clip, Jeezy gives us a glimpse of the Regency and that his project is on the way!
He also announces that he will be premiering his (RE) Session podcast that he is partnering with Charlamagne Tha God and IHeartMedia, The Black Effect podcast network. It is an 8-episode weekly series that launched today and they will be talking about the sequel to the album, exploring the pandemic, economic crisis and more. It will take their cues from song titles with subjects dealing with mental health issues, prison reform, police brutality, racism and more. Tony Robbins will be on the first episode and many more guests will be announced amongst the weeks. Jeezy will battle King of the South emcee, T.I., at a Verzuz battle that is set to premiere on Thursday, November 19 and his latest single and visual with Yo Gotti called “Back” is out now leading to his album.
