The posthumous album of DMX is set to release on Friday, May 28. It is executive produced by Swizz Beatz that has all the originals.
Swizz states: “My brother X was one of the most pure and rare souls I’ve ever met. He lived his life dedicated to his family and music. Most of all, he was generous with his giving and loved his fans beyond measure. This album, X couldn’t wait for his fans all around the world to hear and show just how much he valued each and every single person that has supported him unconditionally.”
The redemption of this upcoming album, that is the first Def Jam album for DMX, since his release in 2003 album Grand Champ. The album name comes from his son, Exodus Simmons, in where the original album artwork is from photographer Jonathan Mannion who has captured most of DMX iconic moments in his career. The New Yorker native has sold over 74 million records, as well as, 14 times platinum certifications worldwide during his time. He is one of the most memorable MCs of all time that has his fans inspired through his music.
