AFROPUNK Announces Its Return to Atlanta on September 25 and 26 As Wale, Rico Nasty, Smino and More Are Hitting the Stage

Afropunk is back! It has announced that the festival is returning to the Black Mecca in the city next weekend on Saturday, September 25 and Sunday, September 26. It will be held at the Atlantic Station Pinnacle with a line-up full of fun weekend. The headliners include Wale, Smino, Rico Nasty and KP The Great & Friends. Other artists, who will be performing, are Tems, SERPENTTHEFEET, Amindi, Tkay Maidza, Hollow Sinatra, Lesibu Grand and more.

AFROPUNK Atlanta represents emergence from a pandemic-induced hiatus through a weekend long music-led experience gathering producers, fans and consumers of black culture. Each festival day will include a unique line up of curated music performances and relevant programming. The tickets are still on here and you can purchase them by clicking here.

Twitch is also partnering with a black-owned music festival that will be livestreaming the festival. AFROPUNK will be experiencing a first-time interactive livestreaming event for the festival go-ers that can’t attend. Fans have welcomed the return of live music concerts as the partnership is a game changer for viewers who want to feel transported into a live music atmosphere during their streaming experience.
