Afro Nation Puerto Rico 2022 announces the headliners for the next year who will include Megan Thee Stallion and Wizkid. It will be a litty spring break that makes its debut on the US soil that takes place March 24-26 on the beach of Balneario de Carolina. The festival reveals the first wave of talent across the three-day event that includes the two big superstars, Megan and Wizkid. Megan has been on the rise for several years now by earning awards and being on the top of the Billboard charts. Joining Megan, Wizkid is Nigeria’s King of Afrobeats, who has recently celebrated his fourth studio album, Made In Lagos, that was released last year. He has collaborations with Beyonce, Drake and Skepta. Plus he has a hit summer anthem single called “Essence” that features Tems. This first festival will represent black excellence and good vibes that will welcome dancehall superstar Sheseea, and reggae sensation Koffee.
On the festival, founders SMADE and Obi Asika say “We’re excited to welcome locals and people from different races and cultures to the beautiful Balneario de Carolina in San Juan for Afro Nation Puerto Rico 2022 to celebrate Black and African music. As with all of our festivals around the world, our mission is to unify and uplift and this edition will be no different.”
